Safeguard
Technology, leading innovator of anti-slip solutions, will
showcase its full line of superior anti-slip products, including five
new glow-in-the-dark Hi-Traction Glo colors, a Quick Ship standard
inventory program and a complete line of Safety Track® anti-slip tapes,
at the American Society of Safety Engineers Safety 2010 Exposition in
Baltimore, Maryland, June 13 through 16.
More than 400 exhibitors are
expected to
attend Safety 2010 to promote the latest products and services in the
safety,
environmental and health industries. Safeguard’s products will be on
display at Booth 2938 at the Baltimore Convention Center. Trade show
attendees are invited to stop by the booth for detailed information
about Safeguard’s advanced safety solutions.
At Safety 2010, Safeguard will
introduce
the latest colors in its cutting-edge Hi-Traction Glo Series. The
Hi-Traction
Glo Series combines Safeguard’s high-quality anti-slip surface with a
long-lasting glow-in-the-dark pigment.

Safeguard now offers six different
colors
in the Hi-traction Glo Series, including the original Glo White. The
latest
additions to the line include two new safety colors and three new
fluorescent
colors:
• Glo Yellow
• Glo Lime
• Glo Orange
• Glo Pink
• Glo Green
The Hi-Traction Glo covers are made
with
a non-toxic, non-radioactive, photoluminescent pigment that is
embedded in
the surface and can be charged repeatedly throughout the life of the
product.
Descriptive markings and PPE (personal protective equipment) symbols
can also
be illuminated in the dark with Safeguard’s customizable HiGlo safety
messages. By using a photoluminescent background, the message is
visible after dark and during power outages, providing a safe egress
during emergency evacuations.
Safeguard will also promote its new
Quick
Ship standard inventory program at Safety 2010, which is comprised of
Safeguard® Hi-Traction anti-slip step covers in the most popular sizes,
grits and colors. Standard inventory step covers can be shipped within
24 hours to help distributors and customers with their immediate
anti-slip needs.
Also at the show, Safeguard’s new
offering of Safety Track® anti-slip tapes will be on display. Safety
Track® tapes offer cost-efficient, quick-fix anti-slip solutions for
lower-traffic areas. The durable peel-and-stick backing adheres securely
to steps, floors and walkways, making installation easy. Safety Track®
anti-slip tapes are certified by the National Flooring Safety Institute
and are available in various levels of coarseness and a variety of
colors, and include glow-in-the-dark, resilient and conformable designs.
